Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy applies to everyone who uses clazz.lk, operated by Panoralink Business Solutions (pvt) Ltd (PV 00286766). It supports a safe platform and our obligations as an intermediary under Sri Lankan law.

1. Prohibited Content & Conduct

You must not create, upload, share or transmit content that:

  • is false and communicated to cause public alarm, or that provokes disorder;
  • harasses, threatens, bullies or intimidates any person, or discloses private information to harass;
  • outrages religious feelings or incites hatred against any group;
  • is obscene, or sexual content involving or endangering minors of any kind;
  • facilitates cheating, impersonation, exam fraud or other dishonesty;
  • infringes intellectual property or other rights; or
  • is otherwise unlawful.

2. Child Safety

Grooming, exploitation, or the unauthorised recording or sharing of a minor's image are strictly prohibited and will be reported to the authorities. Private, unmoderated contact between adults and minor students outside the structured learning environment is not permitted.

3. Moderation & Takedown

We may review, disable or remove content and may suspend accounts where we reasonably believe this policy or the law has been breached. We act on valid reports and comply with lawful directives from the relevant authorities, including removing or disabling access to prohibited content within the timeframes required by law.

4. Reporting

Report content that may breach this policy using our Report Content form or by emailing support@clazz.lk.

Governing Law & Regulatory Framework

This document is intended to comply with the laws of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka, including, where relevant, the Online Safety Act No. 9 of 2024 and the Intellectual Property Act No. 36 of 2003.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka. The parties will first attempt in good faith to resolve any dispute by negotiation; failing that, the courts of Colombo have exclusive jurisdiction, save that any dispute may instead, by agreement of the parties, be referred to arbitration under the Arbitration Act No. 11 of 1995, seated in Colombo and conducted in English. Nothing in this clause limits any right or remedy a consumer has under the Consumer Affairs Authority Act No. 9 of 2003.
