Copyright & IP Policy

Panoralink Business Solutions (pvt) Ltd (PV 00286766) respects intellectual property rights and expects users of clazz.lk to do the same.

1. Ownership & Licence

Educators own the content they create and grant us a licence to host and distribute it on the platform, as set out in the Teacher Terms. Students receive only a limited right to access purchased content for their own learning.

2. No Infringing Uploads

You must not upload content you do not have the rights to, including copyrighted textbooks, videos or materials owned by others.

3. Reporting Infringement (Notice)

If you believe content on the platform infringes your rights, email support@clazz.lk with: your contact details; identification of the work; the location (URL) of the material; and a statement that you believe the use is unauthorised and that your notice is accurate. We will review and may disable access to the material.

4. Counter-Notice

If your content was disabled and you believe this was in error, you may submit a counter-notice with your contact details, identification of the material, and an explanation. We will review it and may restore the content where appropriate.

5. Repeat Infringers

Accounts that repeatedly infringe others' rights may be suspended or terminated.

Governing Law & Regulatory Framework

This document is intended to comply with the laws of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka, including, where relevant, the Intellectual Property Act No. 36 of 2003.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka. The parties will first attempt in good faith to resolve any dispute by negotiation; failing that, the courts of Colombo have exclusive jurisdiction, save that any dispute may instead, by agreement of the parties, be referred to arbitration under the Arbitration Act No. 11 of 1995, seated in Colombo and conducted in English. Nothing in this clause limits any right or remedy a consumer has under the Consumer Affairs Authority Act No. 9 of 2003.
