Accessibility statement
Last updated 2026-10-28
We want everyone to be able to learn and teach on OneLMS, including people who use a screen reader, a keyboard instead of a mouse, magnification, or captions. This statement covers the OneLMS platform, the clazz.lk marketplace and the school sites we host.
Our standard
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. OneLMS is partially conformant: some parts do not meet the standard yet. They are listed below.
How we check
- Automated accessibility checks (axe) run in our test suite on the sign-in page, joining a class, taking a quiz and the video player.
Known gaps
- Captions. Our own video player does not show captions yet. Videos a teacher hosts on YouTube can use YouTube’s captions.
- Teachers’ content. Videos, PDFs, images and quiz questions are uploaded by teachers. We cannot check that each one has captions, text alternatives or an accessible layout.
- School colours. A school can choose its own brand colours, which can lower text contrast on its site.
- Timed quizzes. The time limit is set by the teacher. If you need more time, ask your teacher to change it for you.
- Older screens. Some older dashboard screens have not been reviewed yet and may have keyboard or screen reader problems.
Tell us about a problem
If something on OneLMS is hard to use with your device or assistive technology, or you need information in another format, write to our privacy contact at support@onelms.lk. Tell us the page and what went wrong. We aim to reply within 10 working days.
