Fees, Commission & Payout Schedule
Version 2.0 — Effective 2026-10-20
This Fees, Commission & Payout Schedule is part of the Teacher Terms and the Institute Owner Terms (together, "the terms") between you and Panoralink Business Solutions (pvt) Ltd (PV 00286766), the operator of the OneLMS platform, including the clazz.lk marketplace and the teacher and institute school sites. It sets out the money rules: our commission, when earnings can be withdrawn, how payouts work, and what happens when a sale is refunded. If it differs from another part of the terms on a money matter, this schedule applies. "You" means the teacher or the institute. All amounts are in Sri Lankan rupees (LKR). A "working day" is a day other than a Saturday, a Sunday or a public or bank holiday in Sri Lanka.
1. How the money flows
Students pay for your classes, courses, quizzes and other items through our payment partners, by an approved bank-deposit slip, or from their account balance. The price a student sees includes platform charges and any taxes that apply.
Where the payment is made to us, we collect it for you. We record your share in your dashboard and we owe you that share, after our commission and any deduction allowed by this schedule. Until we pay it, your share is an amount we owe you, recorded in our books. It is not a bank deposit, it earns no interest and it is not covered by any deposit-insurance scheme.
Where a student pays you directly (through your own payment gateway, by bank transfer to you, or in cash at a venue), the money goes to you. The commission on that sale is recorded as an amount you owe us. We may deduct it from your other earnings, or ask you to pay it within 14 days of our notice.
2. Commission
- Default rates. Our commission is 15% of the sale value on sales made through the platform, and 5% on sales made through your own registered domain. The sale value is the value shown for that sale in your dashboard.
- Agreed rates. A different rate agreed with you, or shown in your dashboard for you or your institute, applies instead of the default.
- Payment charges. The cost of processing a payment is covered by the commission unless your dashboard shows it as a separate line.
- Tax. If tax becomes payable on our commission or our service, we may add it to the commission, shown separately, after notice under the next point.
- Changes. We may change the default rates, or add or change any fee or rule in this schedule, by giving you at least 30 days' notice in your dashboard and by email. A change applies only to sales completed after it takes effect. If you do not accept it, you may close your account before it takes effect and we will pay what is owed under this schedule. If you keep selling after it takes effect, you accept it.
3. Your earnings and the holding period
Each sale, our commission on it and your net earnings appear in your dashboard. Earnings from a sale can be withdrawn only after 3 working days from the day the sale completes (the holding period).
We may hold longer, and hold back the amounts we reasonably need to hold, while we review a sale, a refund request, a chargeback, a complaint, a suspected fraud, an identity or anti-money-laundering concern, a legal order, or a breach of the terms. We tell you why where the law allows, and we release the rest.
4. Withdrawing your earnings
- How. Request a payout from your dashboard once your identity and bank account are verified (see our AML / KYC Policy).
- Where. We pay only to a bank account in the name of the verified account holder: you, or for an institute, the institute. We cannot pay a third party.
- Limits. A payout request, and the total paid to one account in a day, is limited. Amounts above the limits need our approval, and we may split, delay or refuse a request that looks unusual. At the date of this schedule the limits are LKR 50,000 for one request and LKR 100,000 in a day; your dashboard shows the current limits, and a change is made under section 2.
- When. We pay within 7 working days after your request is approved and any holding period has ended. Your bank then takes the time it needs.
- Minimum and fees. There is no fixed minimum withdrawal unless your dashboard shows one. Any fee for a payout is shown in your dashboard before you request it. Charges made by your own bank are yours.
- Your details. You must keep your bank details correct. If you change them, we may verify them again and pause payouts until we have. A payment sent to the verified account as you requested counts as paid.
5. Refunds, chargebacks and recovery
- When we refund a student under our Refund & Cancellation Policy, or a payment is reversed or charged back, the earnings from that sale are reversed, and so is our commission on it. This applies even if you have already been paid.
- We take the amount from your available earnings first and then from your future earnings, and we may hold other payouts until it is recovered.
- If there are no earnings left to take it from, for example because you have closed your account, you must repay the amount within 14 days after we ask.
- We may recover any other amount you owe us under the terms in the same way.
- The same rules apply when the refund goes back to the student's account balance, or when the sale was paid with a gift voucher or promotional credit.
- If a student's payment made directly to you is refunded and we record the refund, we cancel our commission on that sale.
- If we pay you too much by mistake, we may take it back in the same way.
6. When an account closes
Either of us may close the account under the terms. Completed sales and our records stay. We may wait up to 30 days after closing to settle refunds and chargebacks. After that, what is owed to you, less what you owe us, remains payable to the verified bank account on your request, under sections 3 and 4.
7. Taxes and withholding
You are responsible for your own taxes. Where the law requires us to withhold or deduct tax from a payment to you, we deduct it, pay it to the authority and show the amount on your statement. The rules on who must withhold, and the rates and thresholds, change, and we apply what the law requires at the time. An institute that pays its own teachers is responsible for any withholding the law requires of it, as set out in the Institute Owner Terms.
8. Statements and mistakes
Your dashboard is the record of sales, commission, refunds, payouts and deductions. If something looks wrong, tell us within 30 days of the statement or payout. We will check it and put a real mistake right, in either direction. A report made later is still looked at, but time can make it harder to check.
